In our properties, you will find, a roll of paper towels, dish sponge, a dishwasher pod, two extra trash bags, dishwashing liquid, coffee filters, ground coffee, a small tea selection, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. We always provide the linens-towels and bedding needed for your stay. Our kitchens are stocked with standard cooking essentials such as pots/pans, baking sheets, silverware, cooking utensils, measuring cups/spoons, and plate ware. If you are looking for something additional, please reach out! We will happily let you know if it is something we can provide for you. Security: For your safety as well as the property, properties are equipped with exterior Ring cameras that are capable of recording video and audio. There are also internal sensors to detect temperature and decibel levels. Basic Rules: No one wants a bad stay so here are some basic rules to ensure a smooth memorable safe stay: 1. If the number of guests requested is not the same as the actual usage, we have the right to evict and we will report to airbnb. Please be honest about the actual number of guests. 2. Absolutely no usage of the property for "house parties". If the police are ever called by the neighbors, then immediate eviction will take place. 3. Absolutely no smoking (pot included) in the house and if there is evidence of smoking in the house a $350 sanitizing fee will be charged. 4. Quiet Hours 10pm-8am. Please be mindful of your neighbors. 5. We are pet friendly! There is an additional cleaning charge of $50.00 per stay for pets. We just ask that pets remain off of the beds and furniture. An additional $50 fee may be added for excessive pet clean up including shedding on furniture and soil stains. If you cannot abide these house rules, please do not rent from us. We prefer to rent it to people who would value a nice place to stay.

- 2026-07-22T02:46:12.000Z · 4.0/5: There were several positive aspects of this property, including its convenient proximity to activities and amenities, pleasant neighborhood, and spacious historic character. However, there were also several issues that affected our experience. The house is advertised as accommodating 10 guests, but the available beds consist of three queen- or king-size beds and two twin beds, which provide standard bed space for eight people. It was not clear to us how the additional two guests were expected to sleep.One of the sleeping areas is also an open loft overlooking the main living area. Because it has limited sound separation and privacy, larger groups may want to take that into account.We also found that the kitchen did not include basic cooking staples such as salt and pepper. In addition, we observed some cleaning concerns, including trash beneath the couches, along with a few relatively minor maintenance issues.Overall, the house was spacious, attractive, and very conveniently located. However, given the rental rate, we expected clearer sleeping arrangements and greater attention to cleaning, kitchen basics, and maintenance.

- 2025-12-28T20:01:25Z · 5/5: We stayed here the weekend after Christmas for a few nights, along with my Mom. We were able to have a nice family holiday gathering with the family from the area. The property is perfect for a group, especially one that plans to cook. There is a little market around the corner; close enough to walk actually. Be aware that, like most old Pittsburgh homes, bedrooms mean climbing stairs; and the master suite is on the third floor; so getting up and down can be a project, depending on your mobility. There's plenty of space for a group to spread out and relax and have fun. We were able to watch the finale of Pluribus downstairs, while those of us who weren't caught up could watch a movie in the living room upstairs. Host was very responsive and helpful; even brought over some extra dining room chairs for us and helped us work the dishwasher.
- 2025-11-29T19:42:16Z · 4/5: We are local Pittsburghers who hosted our extended family for Thanksgiving and they stayed at Henry’s beautiful old home, located perfectly in Highland Park close to businesses and the park. The house is spacious with comfortable beds and multiple areas to relax in. The young ones especially loved the basement space with TV, pool table and darts. Henry was easy and pleasant to communicate with, and very helpful! Our only complaint is that the kitchen, while beautiful, was not well stocked and not very functional for making family meals or dining together. If you were planning to takeout or eat simple you probably wouldn’t notice, though.
