What to Pack:
We stock all our properties with a starter supply of the basics to get you through your first night or two! In our properties, you will find, a roll of paper towels, dish sponge, a dishwasher pod, two extra trash bags, dishwashing liquid, coffee filters, ground coffee, a small tea selection, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.
We always provide the linens-towels and bedding needed for your stay. Our kitchens are stocked with standard cooking essentials such as pots/pans, baking sheets, silverware, cooking utensils, measuring cups/spoons, and plate ware. If you are looking for something additional, please reach out! We will happily let you know if it is something we can provide for you.
Security:
For your safety as well as the property, properties are equipped with exterior Ring cameras that are capable of recording video and audio. There are also internal sensors to detect temperature and decibel levels.
Basic Rules:
No one wants a bad stay so here are some basic rules to ensure a smooth memorable safe stay:
1. If the number of guests requested is not the same as the actual usage, we have the right to evict and we will report to airbnb. Please be honest about the actual number of guests.
2. Absolutely no usage of the property for "house parties". If the police are ever called by the neighbors, then immediate eviction will take place.
3. Absolutely no smoking (pot included) in the house and if there is evidence of smoking in the house a $350 sanitizing fee will be charged.
4. Quiet Hours 10pm-8am. Please be mindful of your neighbors.
5. We are pet friendly! There is an additional cleaning charge of $50.00 per stay for pets. We just ask that pets remain off of the beds and furniture. An additional $50 fee may be added for excessive pet clean up including shedding on furniture and soil stains.
If you cannot abide these house rules, please do not rent from us. We prefer to rent it to people who would value a nice place to stay.View More

Hi - We requested access to the property a month in advance to make sure it would work for our guests but the property owner was not willing to accommodate a quick meeting. There are some nice features to the house and lots of space, but many of the cheap flip features now common in vrbo investment properties (for example: broken drawers, a wood feature wall with price tags still all over the wood, not great beds, etc.). The basement room off the stairs and the cellar entrance were also creepy. Christopher

We stayed here the weekend after Christmas for a few nights, along with my Mom. We were able to have a nice family holiday gathering with the family from the area. The property is perfect for a group, especially one that plans to cook. There is a little market around the corner; close enough to walk actually. <br/>Be aware that, like most old Pittsburgh homes, bedrooms mean climbing stairs; and the master suite is on the third floor; so getting up and down can be a project, depending on your mobility. <br/>There's plenty of space for a group to spread out and relax and have fun. We were able to watch the finale of Pluribus downstairs, while those of us who weren't caught up could watch a movie in the living room upstairs. <br/>Host was very responsive and helpful; even brought over some extra dining room chairs for us and helped us work the dishwasher. We are local Pittsburghers who hosted our extended family for Thanksgiving and they stayed at Henry’s beautiful old home, located perfectly in Highland Park close to businesses and the park. The house is spacious with comfortable beds and multiple areas to relax in. The young ones especially loved the basement space with TV, pool table and darts. Henry was easy and pleasant to communicate with, and very helpful! Our only complaint is that the kitchen, while beautiful, was not well stocked and not very functional for making family meals or dining together. If you were planning to takeout or eat simple you probably wouldn’t notice, though. J

We love our stay here. The neighborhood is beautiful. Cleanliness and the parking situation is huge for us. This place met those expectations. Highly recommended if you're looking for a large place to stay.
